PLOT
basically the movie is about a teenage boy bought a car to try and impress a girl, the car turned out to be a robot. the robot chose to have the teenage boy to be his companion because he had some glasses that had the map to some sort of cube looking thing. while he was looking for the glasses his companions "the autobots" (the good robots) crash landed to come get the cube. "the decepticons" (the bad robots) came to earth looking for the cube. the cube was said to give off energy that could turn human technology into robots. the decepticons were looking for the cube to do evil things with it and the autobots wanted to find it before them so that they couldnt use it for evil. a war broke out between the 2.

ACTING

the acting in this movie was very realistic from the soldiers to the teenage students. even though the actors arent the accual age in real life they sure looked the part of teenage students. i think there was one stereotype in thos movie but it might have been the opposite of a stereotype, when the teenage boy (sam) takes the teenage girl (mikaela) home after she is stranded after a party his car shuts down randomly mikaela tells sam to pop the hood and she knew every thing about the motor in the car. the characters are believable like the soldiers in the movie i thought they were accuall soldiers when i was watching the movie just because they dont take any commands from the people out side of the war and they wont take no for an answer.


SPECIAL EFFECTS, CINEMATOGRAPHY, MUSICAL SCORE, CAMERA SHOTS ETC.

The technical aspects of this film complement it because of the type of film and the whole story behind this film with the transformers and the whole war aspect of this film, with transformers as the name of the film and how the special effects complimented that on how they used the special effects to the best of its abilty by showing every part of the transformer even the smallest part of the transformer and the eye of the transformers how they even had the little lines. what stood out about the special effects was the transformers and the way it showed them transforming into the robot. also the war aspect of it stood out to, it accually felt like you were in the war because of the whole scenery in the movie and how it is in the desert where there is nobody around.

FINAL COMMENTS
I believe you should watch the film not because its a great movie but its the type of film that you can lose yourself in and how it sticks with the whole story the whole movie and it doesnt cut from scene to scene. I believe the audience for this movie can be any age because the children can get excited about the transformer aspect of it and also adults because they grew up on watching transformers the cartoon series which was a major hit back then and now turned into real life sort of movie. the strengths of this movie is the special effects and also how at the end of the movie they set it up so that you could tell that there was a sequal to look forward to. but I believe there are no weeknesses about this movie
