Plot
1. After being sent to exile for a crime he did not commit, Sweeney Todd returns to London only to find his wife dead and his daughter adopted by the evil Judge who once sentenced his exile. Mad with rage, Todd decides to open a barber shop above a Mrs. Lovett's meat pie shop. Though a very talented shaver, Todd has more murderous intentions for his shop, that also seems to benefit the meat pie shop.

Acting
1. Sweeney Todd is a demented, bigger then life character. Though hard to picture in a realistic world, his character is more something that you would here about in an urban legend. A good fit for this Victorian horror. His partner in crime Mrs. Lovett is just as crazy, but also has a sweet, caring, and romantic side to her.

2. The main characters are not stereotyped, but i found the Judge his accomplice Beadle to be more of flat characters, though still very interesting.

3. The characters are over the top, but also entertaining. Most of the characters are dynamic and even though there intentions are horrific, you can actually see where they are coming from

4. The actors in this movie are incredibly talented, showcasing not only their acting abilities but also there singing. Sine if the actors include Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall, Sacha Baron Cohen, and young Jamie Campbell- Bower

Special Effects, Cinematoghraphy etc.
1. the movie uses special effects that use a lot of gorry blood and guts. Though it ends up looking more theatrical then gruesome. They use incredible set design and sweeping camara shots that make it feel like the entire movie is a Disney Land ride. In general all the effects of the movie add to its surreal fealing.

2. The actual music sung is witty, humorous, and catchy. It complements the story well.

Final Comments
1. i would recomend people to watch this movie because it will leave you saying "Oh my God!" whether good or bad

2. i would recomend this movie to the general public. It may not be good for those who role their eyes as soon as the singing starts. It is also very violent and graphic and should not be seen by younger audiences or the easily disturbed.

3. Its a crazy ride throughout the whole movie, but not everyone likes amusement rides.
