movie review

The Heading

1) Forgetting Sarah Marshall

2) Comedy

3) ***** (5)

Plot

1) the plot of the story Is basically… a guys girl friend breaks up with him so he is trying to forget about her but its hard for him because she is a star on one of the top rated TV shows that he does the music for.. he eventually figures out that he is a wreck and goes on vacation to find her there with another guy which is also famous. Later on he figures out that he she was cheating on him for a year before the actually broke up

Acting

1) these characters seem pretty realistic because it is basically the same predicament that most people are in when the break up with some one. Usually. All the characters have their own personalities.

2) I don’t think that any of the characters are stereotyped. A lot of the characters have there own personalities that make them all different. Stereotypes aren’t really used in the movie

3) yes the characters are well developed and it shows it throughout the movie. The main characters it shows the stories of there personalities and how they were developed.

4) the acting is very believing you get what they are about in the movie and what is happening with the acting. I would say some actors played there characters a little better than some of the others but all the acting was completely believable

Special Effects, Cinematography, Musical Score, Camera Shots ETC.

1) the technical aspects complement the film because it adds to the story giving it a better way of telling the story and getting to know the characters

2) one thing stood out for me and its kind of bad, I noticed it the first time I saw the movie. There is a scene in the movie where two of the people are having a conversation in the kitchen and in the background is a container that has cereal in it. If you notice the amount of cereal in the container keeps changing as the conversation goes on

Final Comments

1) I think that this is a great movie and that the reader should definitely see the movie if the want a good laugh but if your not really a comedy type person it might not be a good movie

2) the target audience is mostly people in there mid 20s t0 30s… a lot of other people might not get the crude humor put into this movie

3) the strengths in this movie is almost everything but the weaknesses would probably be detail. I don’t think the crew paid that much attention to detail but overall it was a good movie
