Catch Me If You Can

Drama / Comedy
5 out of 5 Rating

The movie is about a boy, Frank Abagnale Jr (Leonardo DiCaprio), that has emotional trauma from the recent split of his parents.
To be exact, his mother has an affair with a friend of his father. Finally Frank runs away from home. When he runs out of money, he trys to get money. He starts to fake checks.
An FBI bank fraud agent (Tom Hanks) begins to track down Frank. It becomes an huge process because Frank is smart enough to fool him . . .

One of the reasons I liked this movie so much was because of the realism of the characters. Although, your average teenage boy generally does not commit such forgeries, the fact that he's so different and what we would call a "Sympathetic Character". Over the course of the movie, you really get a feel of what each character brings to the movie, there is no undeveloped characters. Leonardo DiCaprio plays an outstanding role for a Hollywood celebrity that appears sheltered in the media's eyes. Guess not!

I found the shots to be brilliant, much like the plot. I think this is definitely a script-driven film. The speech and fluency of each character brought the plot of
the movie alive.

Overall, I think this film is a work of art. Anyone could relate to it and be held captive with the creative script. If you want to know more about what I think about this movie, you're going to have to Catch Me If You Can.
